Well, erm "nature wise" I can hold it until I get up in the morning. But since I have 2 kids, I don't sleep much anyway... |

In the past year I've had to make sure I use the ladies room before I go to bed, otherwise I will be getting up in the middle of the night..even so, I'm running to the bathroom in the early morning because my bladder feels like it would bust! I can't imagine how much worse its going to get as I age! :P |

I'm like a camel and can go to bed with a full bladder and STILL not have to get up to go.... it's the night sweats that get me. |

I'm just about 20 weeks pregnant, so oh yeah..I'm up a few times in the night :) On a normal basis I can go just before bed then wake up for the quick dash in the morning. |

my bladder usually wakes me up at 6am sharp, if I don't go right before bed sometimes I get up in the night. Don't know yet if post surgery will be different, I'm still out of whack a little bit. |

I wake up many times at night to use the "little girls room".Sad,really, this is part of my stress in which causes gain weight cuz not having enough sleep hinders you from doing the rest of the projects that needed to be done instead of laying around all day doing nothing, but get on the computer or watch TV,and find something to munch on or just cook whatever comes to mind just for the sake of cooking.I believed this is part of the problem"weight gain",we lack to see our simple problems"sleep",and tries to compensate everything else around us by using our least energy left which is our"mouth" and gorged(sp) on food whenever possible.I try my very best not to drink soda, caffeine is so bad on keeping you awake unless you drink non caffenated soda.Sugar keeps me awake at night too so i stay away from that as well.I try to stick to water which helps me sleeping through at night. To keep me snoozing all the way,i would strech my feet, arms, and back, and then do some crosswords or some reading before sleeping. This will take the rest of my strenght i have left, and get my full night sleep. Now,if you have worries, and just problems that pops up now and then, keeping you awake, and takes you to little girls room is a way of releasing stress not just re leasing your bowels.Funny it sounds and yet true.I find my bathroom is a way of hiding from the ol'e world and get my thoughts together. You would think my deck would do that, but it seems my bathroom is doing the job for me lol....I hope you get a well rested night sleep...Take care much love and God Bless.... |

As you get older things change. Pulling an all nighter used to mean staying up all night but for old folks it means not getting up to use the bathroom. |

Yes I get up, every single night. Sometimes more then once. And it has almost always been that way. If I wake up suddenly in the middle of the night, before I feel comfortable enough to go back to sleep, I have to take a trip to the little ladies room, and then back to bed. |

I usually wake up 3-4 times a night for various reasons. I've been having sleeping issues for years. I might get 2 decent nights of sleep a month. |

Most of the time I sleep through the whole night and when waking up, I don't need to rush to the restroom, but usually once i'm up if I don't get to get in there soon enough, it becomes very uncomfortable to wait. |

When I was at uni I always used to have a glass of milk before bed & that meant that I always needed to get up and pee in the middle of the night, but these days I don't tend to do that so I sleep all the way through :) |

I'm a camel (day and night) so I fortunately don't really have that issue. I think it's also proportionate to how much I drink before I go to bed... |

Ever since my car accident, I have woken up in the middle of the night and had to go. So for the last two years.. yes. Before that, no. I actually have bladder problems I won't even go into that all seemed to surface after the accident, which makes sense.. But anyway, it's all TMI. lol |

I can usually sleep through the night. It really depends on my son. Some nights he sleeps all the way through, and others he doesn't. I dash to the little girls room in the morning! |

I generally sleep through the night and have to make a "mad dash" in the morning. Childbirth x 2 and getting older will do that to a person. On occasion I've gotten up in the middle of the night but it's rare. |

use to , but not since I had my surgery, I can sleep all night now without having to make a fast dash and EVEN have a cup of coffee in the morning before having to head for the JOhn, LOL, OH and the other day I was so proud of being able to pee for such a long time instead of a pst.. that I yelled for my husband to come to the door *bathroom* and *listen* to how long I could now pee, LOL, he rolled his eyes and left before I could finish. hehehhe |
