Trying to see The Dark Knight is like trying to win the lottery. I waited all day (impatiently but respectfully) to go to the movies. We were supposed to leave at 7, but left about 8:30. (Me, my sister, her boyfriend , and his nephew) We got to the theater about 8:45, and watched... right before our very eyes as showings for 9:00, 9:50, 10:20, 11:00 and 11:45 sold out one by one. And I must tell you, the line, DID NOT MOVE. After watching it get down to the very last one that was 4 hours away, we decided it was pointless to wait and chose to go back tomorrow. It was the craziest thing I have seen in a while. This movie is intense and I haven't even seen it yet. I'm not even mad about missing the movie, I'm impressed that I saw it disappear off the screen in less than one minute. I'm mad that as I'm watching it disappear, there was a band outside the theater playing "Disco Inferno"... badly and loudly lol. Attempt 2 is coming tomorrow, early. How early? I don't know. I will find out when my sister gets back from her boyfriends. The poor guy felt so bad, but I wasn't upset with him. He kept apologizing but you know what? We are going tomorrow, and we are going to try hard for IMAX, we hear its the only way to do it but today it was sold out. So, has anyone had ANY luck in seeing this movie? I hope tomorrow goes better than today.
